From its colonial past to independence in 1975, Maputo's story is marked by racial segregation and complex urban issues. The survey conducted among its residents revealed a significant gap between the government and citizens, with solid waste management topping the list of concerns. But there's hope! This research aims to use Augmented Reality (AR) to bridge this divide. Introducing the Trash Snail AR art object, a unique way for Maputo residents to visualize and address the waste problem using their mobile devices.
